The Gift of Hope IVF Grant awards free IVF cycles each year
The Gift of Hope IVF grant is offered each spring through the generosity of Dr. John Storment and Dr. Neil Chappell of Fertility Answers. This year our gift also recognizes the donation of services from Ovation Fertility, our lab partner, Posterity Health for their reproductive urology services, and our anesthesia partners in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, as well as many of our pharmaceutical partners who graciously donate medications.
Congratulations to Christopher & Andrea Amos and Alexia Carey, winners of the Gift of Hope IVF Grant 2024!

Did you know that 1 in 8 American couples struggle with infertility each year? Yet only a quarter of healthcare insurers offer coverage for infertility care. For many couples, coming up with the funds to pay for treatment not covered under their medical insurance can be a huge strain on finances and emotions. That’s why we created this IVF grant program.
We feel strongly that couples, no matter their financial limitations or lack of infertility insurance coverage, should have HOPE to build their families. We created the Gift of Hope IVF Grant in 2006 to help infertile couples in Louisiana overcome financial and emotional barriers to building their families through the gift of an in vitro fertilization cycle.

Since 2006, there have been 29 Louisiana couples chosen for the Gift of Hope IVF and IUI grants, with thirteen babies born! The combined value of donated services for a single Gift of Hope IVF grant is estimated at $15,000. Over the years, Fertility Answers and its partners have donated over $400,000 in services and medications.
