Introducing the newest addition to our office – our C-Arm Fluoroscopic Imaging System. With this amazing piece of equipment, we can now offer in-office HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAM (HSG) to evaluate the uterine cavity and the patency of the fallopian tubes. This means more flexibility for our patients to have the procedure done in-office rather than having to schedule another appointment at another facility. Plus, we can determine your results immediately, eliminating the time delays previously required to receive the results and then schedule a follow-up appointment.
How does the C-Arm work? During an HSG, dye is introduced into the uterus and fallopian tubes. As the dye is being passed into the uterus, x-ray pictures are being taken. The entire procedure usually takes less than 10 minutes. Our doctors can see the results immediately and can discuss the findings with you at the time of your visit.
