Lafayette Celebration Day 2016 – 2,135 Reasons to Celebrate!
On Sunday, October 23rd, Fertility Answers welcomed back babies and their families that have been born through the help of the center’s reproductive endocrinologists, Dr. John Storment and Dr. Susan Conway. To date, there have been 2,135 babies born with the help of our Lafayette clinic physicians.
Over 60 families came out to enjoy the beautiful October Sunday afternoon weather along with fun jumps, a Halloween costume contest, face painting, and celebration cake. Patients came as far away as Houston, TX, and Alexandria, LA, to join in the celebration. The youngest attending was 3 weeks old while the oldest who came to the event was sixteen.
“We love welcoming back our patients and their children,” said Dr. Storment. “Infertility affects about one in every eight couples and it is very gratifying to see that we have changed the lives of so many of our patients and helped them to build their families.”
The reunion was also a collection site for baby items needed by the families at Faith House. Attendees brought non-perishable infant foods or baby items, such as baby food and diapers.

Lafayette Celebration Day 2014 at the Zoo of Acadiana, was a WILD success!
“Yesterday’s Celebration Day was a huge success,” said Dr. John Storment, medical director of Fertility Answers. “It was great to see patients that I haven’t seen in awhile. To see them handle parenthood with such enthusiasm and grace was remarkable. Though there was not nearly enough time to catch up with everyone, I am humbled by every patient who took time out of their busy schedule to come and celebrate. Not sure, but it seemed like over 400 people turned out on an incredibly beautiful day to share their family with us. I was surprised and honored by folks traveling from such long distances like Houston, Monroe, New Orleans, Alexandria and Lake Charles. As we extend our services to Baton Rouge, we are reminded how important personal patient care is and how unique each of their cases truly are. Today was such a reminder. Thanks everyone for coming!”
