Be prepared for your first consultation appointment

To optimize the benefit that you receive from your first visit with Fertility Answers, we encourage you to plan ahead and for BOTH partners to attend. Since both partners could be contributing to the inability to conceive, having you both there is essential to being able to see the full picture.

We also encourage you to provide us with as much information as possible. This includes filling out your Patient Portal and gathering as much prior medical information that you can from your other doctors, including your obstetrician/gynecologist, urologist, or healthcare providers who treated you for prior surgeries or illnesses, including sexually-transmitted illnesses, you or your partner may have had. Infertility can be caused by many things, and the more information we have, the better we will be able to diagnose your issue.

Additionally, understanding your insurance benefits is essential before your first visit with us. Many health insurance policies do not cover fertility treatments, or they cover only certain ones. Providing us with your insurance information prior to your first visit will allow us to help you understand your policy’s specific benefits for fertility treatment.
